Charlene Schaefer — Clinical Informatics Specialist

Charlene is a consummate professional who puts in the time and effort to resolve the most highly nuanced and complex informatics problems. A senior clinical informatics specialist who is often consulted by her junior colleagues, Charlene takes the time to teach and assist so that her colleagues can grow in their roles and advance their UHS careers. Charlene is a committed team player counted on by her coworkers all across UHS, both at the home office and in the field. She thoughtfully considers each team member’s input on all projects while keeping her eye on the project deadlines and meeting them every time. Her team appreciates that she is a good listener with a kind and approachable manner, even in the most stressful of times.
