Debi Emerick — Executive Assistant, Marketing and PR

2023 UHS Service Excellence Winner

Debi Emerick, Administrative Assistant for the Marketing & Communications team, truly represents Service Excellence at UHS. Debi handles every interaction and every request made of her with grace and a smile. She is kind to everyone, highly reliable, and goes the extra mile in everything she does.

While Debi had multiple nominations, I’ll quote one nominator, who wrote: “Debi exudes professionalism and courtesy in everything she does, and no request ever goes unanswered. If she can’t help you, she will find someone who can. She is always positive, cheerful and encouraging. She often thinks of others, from leaving affirmation cards on someone’s desk to thinking of new ways to motivate and inspire our department.”

In addition to her role in Marketing, Debi helps out others across the organization on larger meetings and initiatives, and has been an active committee member, organizer and contributor of TEAM CARE.
